Expecting the supplies today for a custom Andi :) Can't wait to get started!!

Also discovered that my neighbor is a professional photographer and I'm hoping to hire him to teach me how to use one of my cameras to get true-color clear-detailing pictures of my babies.

Rori is my long-awaited red-head baby, who still isn't ready to be born, because I just discovered that I don't have a body to fit (thought I did, but don't). So here's some pictures, just a little preview : ) while we wait.

This is Franklin, my newest Little One, just born yesterday.

He is so cute in his Eeyore outfit, with his favorite stuffed toy - Eeyore, of course! He was such a joy to reborn, love his chubby face. Thank you, Barbara Stewart, for making the Elijah sculpt :)

He is available for adoption, $175 plus shipping.

Boy or Girl?

New baby, micro preemie, just born this morning. Only problem is, I can' tell if it's a boy or girl. So I'm putting it up to a vote :)

What do you think?

Edited to add: This is the Mai sculpt by Akie Yamada.

Most people voted "boy", so he is now named - Brenden.

He is available for adoption ($120 includes usa shipping)

In progress

Working on a new little one with a new technique. I usually do the skin tones and then shade, but this time I shaded underneath and painted all the skin tone washes on top. Here he is in progress (I think it'll be a boy, but I could be wrong).

Still needs a little more blushing on feet, plus eyebrows and wet look on eyes/lips. Then will be ready for hair!

The custom baby boy was sent home - can't wait to hear back from the dad!

Seraphina was adopted (my newest baby, the same day she was born lol), and Jasmine was also adopted :) Only baby in the nursery still up for adoption right now is Laben.

Done rooting the other little boy I was working on - glue is drying.

Halfway done with the red-head, the glue is still wet there.

Rooting (still early stages) a Joyful Heart by Lee Middleton. Not sure if boy or girl yet, pictures after hair.

The next 4 babies I will be making are:
Mai by Akie Yamada
Ava Raine by Laura Tuzio-Ross
Destiny by Michelle Barrow
Alina by Adrie Stoete

I'm so so so glad that I have the energy and time to work on reborning again. Thank you, Lord, for my new job!

Seraphina is born

This morning there was a new baby born in the nursery :)
Her sculpt is Seraphina by Akie Yamada - I thought the name fit her so she kept it. She is a limited edition - #169 of 300 worldwide.

Most of the time, my babies only get pierced ears if the new parents request it, but since she wasn't a custom (and she looks adorable with them) I gave her tiny diamond (not real of course) earrings. And a magnet for sweet hairbows! She is too tiny for the clothes I have here (only 12 inches long), so I ordered her a micro preemie set that will be here next week.

She was so much fun!

Been working away at getting things up to date and some new babies ready.

My website has been inaccessible for some time now (technical problems with the site). I am finally able to get back on, so I'm working on updating it. Will publish it when it's all ready.

Been working on a custom order - he is done and ready to be sent home this week. <3

I only have 2 babies completed and up for adoption... but I have another almost done (just waiting for the glue to finish drying), one half rooted, and two more that were started to be rooted and then left to sit.

Rooting is not appealing to me lately, I do it because it's a necessity - the poor babies need some hair lol. But my longing is to paint. I have so many techniques and tones that I want to try. I've made 64 babies so far and only done a fraction of the things I want to do.

The red head baby I'm working on is one that I've been wanting to create - the pale skin tone in the infants and children pictures I am using, the pinker lips, the orange-tinted red hair.

And, of course, all this done between work and my family life. And work calls now, so I have to go. I'll post again when I get time : )
