Full of Ideas

I'm just so full of ideas right now, wish I had time for them all. My dream is to someday work 1/4 time instead of full time, and reborn full time. Oh, all the babies I could make!

Right now, I am working on a bigger baby, trying out different hair against her while developing her skin tones. She's still not the tone I want her, but she's coming along. Or he, depending on the end, but seems to be a girl right now.

A reborn artist friend of mine did a little girl with these bushy ponytails on either side of the head, just adorable! I fell head over heels for the hair and am bound and determined that my toddler baby will have hair like that. So I've been shopping around for hair and, with the help of a few fabulous bargains (aka ebay), am hoping to find the perfect human hair much cheaper than what the 3-4 ounces of mohair would cost.

But, before starting the toddler, I am going to be re-rooting a beloved preemie girl head for a repeat customer's daughter - with LOTS of hair this time :)

And, after that preemie, my big baby, and the toddler, I want to reborn Elise (the most detailed sculpt I've seen so far, love it), then I want to do a blonde Bonnie, then a Felicia or Lacey, then....well, ok, maybe I should stop there for now. I know it's going to change lol. I just love creating these Little Ones!

August 05, 2011 Newsletter

Hello, Hello!

My latest custom, Gage, arrived at home yesterday. His mama is enjoying him and sent me an email saying "He is beyond gorgeous there's no way I can thank you enough!!!... I'm a very happy customer and can't wait to spread the word." That just made my day, I love hearing back from customers when they see their babies :) Here's a picture of little Gage:

Laben, after being available for over 6 months, was adopted by my best friends' sister and she loves him. I'm glad he found a good home - and she got another one of my babies lol

I've started a new baby, from the Alina sculpt by Adrie Stoete. She's gonna be a beauty!

The babies for adoption are now going to be in the newsletter, at the end, so it's easier to update the website. I just have to update this page instead of three pages (I used to have "available boys" and "available girls" pages also).

Well, that's all the news for now. Another newsletter will be out when there's more news!

Come visit me on Blogger, Facebook, and/or Twitter!

July 19, 2011 Newsletter

Hello again friends!

I started a new job, so I have a little more time for reborning, hooray! I'm currently working on a custom and, when he is born, so will a little red-headed Irish baby. Here's a sneak peek of that baby, named Rori:

will be $165

Several other babies were born in the nursery and are up for adoption. They are:

Franklin
$175 plus shipping

Brenden

$75 plus shipping

And Laben has been looking for a home also
$180 plus shipping

I don't know if you noticed, but I had to raise my custom prices, as supply prices are all higher, but they are still the lowest prices out there. I will probably raise them again sometime early next year, but I wanted to keep them as low as possible for the coming holiday season.

Another possibility for later is selling on ebay, but for now I'm going to stay where I am. I'd like to branch out a little more, but dread the idea of dealing with ebay and non-paying bidders and such.

To find me now, come visit me on Blogger, Facebook, and/or Twitter :)

Well, that's all the news for now. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the summer!

The website (edenslittleones.com) has finally been updated!! I know, about time, right? It's been needing updated for over six months now, but it's finally done. I'm doing the last touches on it, will be published to the internet later this evening.

And...I got a new email newsletter out :) I haven't had a new newsletter in several months, so that was desperately needing done too.

The hair on the custom is slow going, but should be done later this week. Then I'll do the final details and post pictures.

Customs

well, my custom is finished painting, finally, so I got a close up pic of his skin

And he started growing some hair :)

I got a request for an ethnic custom of the same sculpt - wouldn't that be awesome? Hope it comes through, would love to do the same sculpt back to back, Caucasian and African-American.

My two days off are over. Took my girls to the zoo on the first day and visited with my best friend Amy on the second. And, of course, worked some on the custom each day :)

The next week will be spent rooting, to get this Little One done. And then...the birth! More pictures then. Plus I'll be birthing the little Irish baby at the same time, so a custom and a baby up for adoption will be born next week.

Until then...
